It was such an incredible honor to have been selected as one of the 19 marquis design teams for ICONIC HAUS 2020, a luxury designer showhouse benefiting The Heart Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
This luxury Paradise Valley home was designed by award-winning CP Drewett and built by the talented Bedbrock Developers, partnered with Ownby Design for the initial design finishes.
From the friendships to newly established professional connections, the entire experience will be one to remember.
While the home was initially intended to be showcased and opened up to the public for an 18-day tour….things quickly pivoted due to unprecedented times.
While we weren’t able to have our friends and families out to see the home in person, I wanted to share a bit about our space with you and how we approached our design for the Laundry Haven at this amazing Iconic Haus.
At Treasure in the Detail, our signature style is warm, modern, cohesive and delightful. While every project is entirely unique, we have woven a level of warmth cohesively throughout our portfolio. Timeless materials presented in a modern way that make a home feel polished yet inviting and restful. The inspiration behind our space for the Iconic Haus Laundry room was reflective of just that!
The hardscape selections include cool tones mixed with black and white finishes which allowed for flexibility and creativity in the overall design creation while still sanctioning a cohesive story with the rest of the modern home.
We love working with neutral pallets while adding in pops of pattern and color to make our designs inviting and fascinating. The laundry room was a perfect space to create this experience.
We love how the plaid wallpaper complements the rich tones in the cabinetry while also infusing the space with a modern and spirited edge.
The artwork was selected to tie in a minimalist mid-century element. The accessories mixed throughout the space not only provide a functional component but deliver texture, depth, and warmth against the cool tones in the finishes.
